Social networking sites

I looked briefly at MySpace, Facebook, and Eons. They appear to appeal to different age groups and lifestyles, and none seemed to really fit for me. But I chose Facebook since I know people on that network. As a somewhat private person, it feels a little strange to be out there on the net. I prefer to relate to my family and friends in more traditional ways--face-to-face, phone, and email. I can see tho that this is a good way for young adults, such as my daughter, to stay in contact and meet new friends.
